The Beatles Help Album Art Poster
For the cover of The Beatles album Help, photographer Robert Freeman intended to have the band spell out a word in flag semaphore. However, on the day of the shoot they decided that it didn’t look right, so The Beatles positioned their arms in a way that looks better but does not actually spell out a word. Help was The Beatles fifth album in the UK and their tenth in the United States, and acted as a soundtrack to their movie by the same name. This Beatles poster is based on the cover of the album.
