This is a picture of John Lennon and Paul McCartney with Jane Asher, Paul’s girlfriend at the time. McCartney and Asher began dating in 1963 and got engaged in 1968, but the wedding was called off months later and the two ended their relationship. This photograph was taken in the mid 1960s.
